"Black Bird" has been serialized by Shogakukan in their Betsucomi monthly magazine since August, 2006. The first volume was released on January 26, 2007 (in Japan).

Kanoko Sakurakoji won the 45th New Female Artist by her first book "Hanetara live" in 1999. Since then, she has been a shogakukan in Betsucomi magazine. Her new series Black Bird won the 54th Shogakukan Manga Award in 2009. (MORE INFO)
