Floral Prints and Bright Colors!

While black will go big in the collections for next fall and winter (like you already learned in my last post), we still want to know what we should go for this summer.
A lot of designers present fashion in bright mixed colors and floral prints.
I picked out a few examples for you to get inspired.

Prada uses flowing chiffon for their unicolor dresses with huge floral prints. They look best combined with big checkered simple colored tights or leggins. I advice you to wear your hair pulled back to draw all the attention to the dress.

Etro combines colorful floral prints with leather accesoires, short skirts and plateau high heels. You also should work the natural look like messed up hair and light make up with it.

Anna Sui’s collection for this spring/summer is very punky. The models show pastel colored short dresses combined with a bright colored belt and bright socks under heels as an eye catcher.

Gucci goes for big black and white floral prints with a splash of yellow or pink in it. You should wear plain black heels with those dresses to concentrate on the few color spots. That means, make sure that you don’t combine much more different colors with the black and white, otherwise you will look like a clown.

Balenciaga lets their models even walk on a flowered carpet! They present high gladiator sandals in bright colors or black and white. Their puffy sleeved short dresses made out of silk work the floral prints even better than the catwalk.

Blumarine created maxi and mini dresses and combined bright colores with floral prints. So if you want attention in summer, you should go for this collection! Heels in amtching colors must not be missing.

Dries Van Noten is totally into that floral print, too! They combine diffent colors and different prints, which actually looks amazing! Just put on some plain flip flops or gladiators and you are ready to go!
