Where are the winged characters from? How did they come to the stories? Were there really winged people or something? Did they really ever exist? Why some demons are described that they have black wings?
I don't know anything about that, but I think I finally got the answer: "There were many winged characters in Greek Myths and lore. Most of the winged characters were carryovers from Asia minor before Greece grew, Winged Characters and monsters are quite common in folklore throughout the world."
Hmm, that's pretty interesting. Kyo, the hero of Black Bird, is a winged demon and also known as a tengu, which are supernatural creatures of Japanese folklore. He looks so gorgeous when his large black wings show..., but there are also other winged characters from other stories. Let's see some of them! ^^
